March 2024 - It's been a long time since we last posted. Progress has been slow, but we have removed the temporary tyres and then the original steel tyre. We have now fitted rubber tyres to correct the stance the engine once had. They look great and we can't wait to try them out. Wheel painting and lining to come before then!

May 2023 - I'm pleased to say, we have got ourselves back going. We have dried out, clean tanks etc, replaced insulation. Successfully steamed the engine. Still have abit of niggly cleaning to go.. but onwards and upwards from here..

February 2023 - Unfortunately this post isn't bringing good news. We have been significantly effected by the recent cyclone to hit Hawke's Bay. The engine went under water, at its peak the level was at the chimney base. The engine is low down our priority list at the minute. But damage just looks superficial.  In the goodness of time we will clean up and be steaming forward again.
